Default The NEW Kaos Technology Carbon fiber frames...

I'm sure most people have heard that Kaos Technologies has officially released the new logo upgrade frames

I will have 2 or 3 of these at IRCHA just in case anyone wants to see them in person...

I have been flying a G10 Version for a while now and will have a couple carbon ones as well...

Default Battery opening?

Can one of you measure how wide the battery opening is?
I'm trying to lay my new Hyperrion 35c 6s 5500 batteries on their side in between the frames.

Default pics of mine...

The Battery compartment is HUGE...probably plenty of room for the 5500mah pack

the radio tray/shelf on the back of the frame is huge also..plenty f room for the rx and drop down reg and my gyrobot ...
Here's the pics of mine...I will have the weight when I'm fully finished ...

I weighed my other G10 one and it's a flat 6lbs with a 6s5000mah pack..

Default Deepak..

That one has the RJX head....my other clone has the Outrage head...

I prefer he outrage head as it flies better...but I already had this setup on my logo 10 and converted it...so I'll keep this one like this for now..

More questions

Why didnt' you build a 600 version instead of two 500's ?
How is the frame designed at the landing gear end ? will it damage the frames if the LG rips off in a crash like the stock frames ?

Whats that gyrobot like compared to the v-bar ? you have both right ?
How many logos do you have now ?

Peace

You guys are not helping me here. I've already decided that my next heli is another Logo but I'm trying to step away for away so I can finish my Chevelle. Those are some seriously wicked looking Logos! I'll never stray from a Logo again, biggest mistake I ever made in my heli time.

I have 2 logo 600's already
I will be converting my logo 600's to these frames next

(landing gear)There are aluminum supports that bolt to the side frames....they do not break the frames like the original logos...they just mangle the landing gear it's a pretty strong design ...

as for the Gyrobot....I will not be buying any more Vbars...I am so impresssed with the flying performance of the gyrobot that going forward I'llbe putting gyrobots on all my machines...

I currently have 11 flybarless machines and 3 of the have the gyrobot 700..the rest are vbar...for me personally I think the gyrobot flies every bit as well and is Very simple to tune...in fact I think the gyrobot has a wider margin for error on the setup file than the vbar....meaning it flies good with a WIDE range of settings...the vbar is a great flying setup but tends to be a bit more finicky in setup and adjustments...

Just my opinion though

I got my carbon frame today! Great
Seams like they don't have a building sketch (...) by now, at least mine came without one... but parts look like a very short build time

Just finished my build... weight is 500g with swash guide, 20mm boom adapter, belt pulleys (hope that's the right word) and main shaft bearings. Only thing which is needed is the tail head... frame seams really light. The side main parts are ~1,2mm carbon. Don't know if that's enough for my L700 project. The spacer in front of the frame is no problem for my 12s A123. I'll use another carbon plate to secure the battery part which stands out of the frame. The main problem for the way I mount my electronics is that the lower sensor platform is missing...
