Default Throttle issue

Hi,

I have a Master CP and Mini CP that were working just fine. Then I somehow messed up my throttle. I have a Devo 8S and as I increase the throttle from 0% to 17% nothing happens, then at 18% the heli jumps to 18% throttle.

I thought it was an issue with the Master CP, but the Mini CP has the same problem. I've reset the radio settings and gone through the options but haven't been able to find something that works.

Here's a video of what's happening if my description isn't clear:

Any ideas on what's going on and what I can try to fix it? Thanks!

Ian

I'm still trying to figure this out... Can anyone tell me at what throttle percentage does the main motor engage on the Master CP?

Can't see the video.

What does the monitor show? Do you have a Sim cable? Are you able to use the Sim? Is the throttle normal?

Here's another link. Hopefully this one works:

The monitor seems normal and I do have Phoenix simulator which also shows the correct throttle increase.

I was wondering if there was an issue with the radio antenna but the pitch does change as I'm increasing the throttle, but the motor doesn't start until about 18%!

This won't solve your problem, but you may "fix" this by changing your throttle curve with 17% as your down stick setting. Not sure what to tell you otherwise. It might be the esc- but it would be odd for both helis to have the same issue with their throttle curve...

Thanks for your input. I might try updating the firmware and see if that gets me anywhere.

I was looking at the transmitter and removed the antenna. I noticed that there was no pin. Here's the image:

Is this normal? If the pin is missing could that explain my throttle issue?

Mine looks the same, and works fine. (knock on wood! Lol!)
I don't think that is your problem.

Thanks for checking. At least I can stop worrying that I broke the transmitter!

I replaced the firmware with Deviation and I still have to throttle up a fair bit before the main motor starts up but it doesn't seem to jerk as much as before. I'll keep playing with the settings and see how it goes.

Default Throttle issue

Hello there guys!!
My walkera master cp issue is:
That when I go to throttle up the blades doesn't start spinning, everything else seems to work just fine, they do change pitch when I throttle up but no spinning....
I'm pretty new at this but last time that I use it it was working perfectly.
All for now, thanks in advance!!

Probably busted motor or speed controller...
