Correct . Once done use pitch travel adjust if you need to, to get the +10 deg of pitch your looking for at high stick and -10 deg at low stick .

Last thing Barry.

So When I put the Throttle to Full Stick I adjust with TRAVAD PITCH H %
and TRAVAD PITCH L % for low stick in the Tx.

Sorry for all questions. Just hoping I'm doing everything correctly this time.

I get it now. So the TRAVAD is adjusting each of the Three servos in either direction on how much they move when you use the Sticks ??

Kevin
Yes , its adjusting the range of movement from center of servo travel .

After your done adjusting TRAVADJ and the head is all set up and you have your -10 at low , mid stick is 0 pitch with arms level and high stick is +10 deg , you can go back into your normal pich curve and reset PL so you have between 0 and -2 deg at low stick . This will keep you from slamming heli into the ground during a panic throttle shut off as the ground is coming . Nothing like full negative pitch to help tear up a heli .

Was going to ask if I left it after I set up, so my Pitch Curve I could put to say :

PL -35%
P1 INH
P2 INH
PM 0%
P3 INH
P4 INH
P5 100%

That will work good for you in normal flight mode .

Well Barry.

It's in repair again. Had a accident in house with it where I flicked wrong switch on Tx and it has hit a wall and burnt the Main Motor out so just waiting on new one.

I also have a Xtreme Swashplate / Rotor Head and Blade grips to put on.

I posted about the blade grips yesterday regarding the washer placement.

I should be backup this weekend. Been playing with my new V911 I got Saturday. It's brilliant I love it

I wanted to add something after watching cruzroys video set up that i forgot to mention but you may already know .After you get the head properlly set up with the 0 deg . arms 90ed,and m= 0 in pich curve in normal throttle mode , if heli feels like it drops to fast go into your pitch curve and adjust for 4 or 5 deg of positive pitch at mid stick . Your only concerened with having p=0 when you are setting servo arms at 90 and adjusting the head for proper geometry . Once this is done play with the pitch curve to get the feel that helps you learn . You may have to raise your throttle curve m position a little if heli is bogging down .

You probably have the new extreme blade grips set wrong . They should be set for leading edge control , i bet your set for trailing edge control . blade grip link should be on same side as leading edge of main blades .

Haha was using the gauge the wrong way round

Its ok now.

So, This is what I have done

Set Pitch Curve to PL=-100% PM=0% PH=100%

Got -10% at Low Stick With TRAVAD PITCH at L = 25%
Got +10% at High Stick With TRAVAD PITCH at H = 35%
Got 0 at Mid Stick

Then I have copied the settings to a new slot and changed Pitch Curve to

PL=-35% PM=0% PH=100%

Then I get on the gauge

-3% at Low Stick and 16% at High Stick and 0% at Mid Stick

Is this all correct ? Not tried to fly it yet though. Just wanted to verify I had done it correctly.

Again Thank you for your help and sorry for been a pain Just all a bit confusing and want to get the Heli in the air.

Kevin

Are you wanting to run 16 degrees at high stick ? Also i noticed that your TRAVAD percents are not both 25 . If you lower the high one to match the low one do you have10 degrees blade pitch both directions ? If you do than your good . If all is good give it a whirl . If you dont like the feel of it around center you can always change the midde stick percent to give you 4 or 5 degrees positive pitch around around center stick but only in normal throttle mode .
