I saw that thread and I may end up going there temporarily until some company starts making them.

In the meantine, why not use some stock 325mm Night Blades? Less work that DIY. You only lose 12.5% area. Couldn't hurt that bad for the ability to fly at night right now.
I know I would certainly entertain the idea if I had a G5.
