Since i need to get some spare rubber grommets i am thinking of grabbing 140 degrees conversion. To say it very simply, all i need is PV1409 and PV1410 and in radio switch to 140 degrees swashplate and that will be it for the conversion?

Looks like the rods and ball links (1410) are included in 1409.

This is for the 140* 1:1 setup, being that the balls for aileron and pitch are the same distance away from the center of the main shaft as the ball for the elevator.

Oh i see. Well spare balls and links are ok to get so i think i will keep 1410 in the order, it's just 2.79usd anyway...

Sounds good. It never hurts to have spares of these small bits.

One thing to note, and I'm sure you'll realize this when you assemble these linkages, is that there are two different sizes of ball links. The longer links get used on one set of rods, and the shorter links get used on the other set of rods. The rods with the long links go on the left side servo. The rods with the short links go on the right side servo.

You can see the difference in these two pics:

Left side - long ball links

Right side - short ball links

wouldnt 140 deg swash be pointless with FBL? the entire theory around 140 is to eliminate interaction. FBL does this for you.

Oh i don't know about that but i have flybar anyway... But i guess you are asking Bob right?

Well if it's supposed to reduce the movement of elevator servo because that on 120 moves a lot more than pitch and aileron then i think it would work on FBL setup because you still have to move elevator servo more as distances to main shaft are the same no?

I wouldn't say it's pointless. A more precise mechanical setup can only make the FBL controller's job easier (relieving the control loop or something like that). The MICROBEAST has specific support for 140* and 140* 1:1 swash plates configurations.
