OK, finally finalized my setup and everything is on the way. Had to be a little different from the norm, so here's mine:

  • TDR 2013 (could be a '12, I guess, shipped mid to late January, though)
  • Rail 716
  • Rail 106
  • Neu Heli 700 510kv
  • Jeti Mezon 130A
  • Futaba BLS252
  • Futuba BLS256HV (already ordered before deciding on the ESC, was going to run straight LiFe)
  • AR7200BX
  • Scorpion Bug

Is anyone using a Kosmik with a 3D setup? I'm thinking K160 with a Pyro 750 Comp for 3D. Will this work or will the Kosmik be too heavy?

Frog, I do not fly hard 3D but the Kosmik is used by many for 3D in many different heli's. The weight of the ESC is nothing with todays new motors.

Have not tried a pyro yet, so I cannot help with your dilemma, but the KDE is a nice motor and it has PLENTY of power for my light 3D-flying

Just don't use the capacitor system with the internel HJ BEC. Kontronik specifically does not approve it or the Scorpion backup.
