Default X50 FBL build

Here is my newest build (this should be the last one that I will ever need)

I sure like these control horns from the G4.

Nice!!

I like that style of servo horn. When I had my X50B, I couldn't get them to fit my Outrage servos.

Definitely a nice pair of heli's you have there.

Servo horns really look great. Mind sharing where did you get them (preferably out of US but i can look for them elsewhere if i have some base where to start)?
I saw these on 700 class thunder tiger heli. Not sure if they were from TT or some upgrade part.

Yes they are Thunder Tiger items, comes stock parts on the Raptor G4.

Cyclic Servo Horn - PV1603
Tail Servo Horn - PV1582

and you'll need inserts to fit them on the servo (comes 4 to a pack)
for JR Servos - PV1623-J
for Futaba and Align - PV1623-F

They were so very easy to set up.

The past 3 flights the motor had run super lean. Didn't matter how much I turned the needles out (had no effect). So I thought either I have an air leak or the carb is plugged. First I changed all the fuel lines including the filter - did not resolve the issue. Then I took the motor completely apart (and the carb). Didn't find anything but thoroughly cleaned everything - still the same issue. Hmmmm, head scratcher! Going to try it today - I replaced the gasket between the muffler and motor with high heat silicone type gasket sealant.

Found the issue.....small slice on the clunk line (on the other end of the clunk) in the main tank. Replaced.....back in the air.

one thing i noticed they changed in the kit is the rudder servo mount i see yours is up front like the g4 but mine came with a carbon tail boom mount.

ive also seen people putting the quick uk mount on the g4 as well to get rid of all that linkage through the frames im probably gong to follow suit and order one for my g4 as well

p.s. it will never be the LAST ONE. ive said that too many times then something new comes out and OMG just take my money allready

Did some browsing in 'quick uk' site....found some interesting accessories that I just needed to have. LOL.

Upgraded the TT53 to a OS55HZ-R with Power Boost pipe. WOW.......the OS was so easy to tune.

I am hoping the O.S. 60L carb mod will improve my odds at enjoying the RL53. I'd rather have an OS55, but I guess I'd like to try the mod first, and sell the engine/pipe if it doesn't work out. They are basically giving the RL53/Pipe away with kits right now.

If I could have found a bargain on a kit without the RL53 motor, I'd have this in it. I love "trick" engines, even though this one is only limited edition colors...:

Default Canopy...

I just couldn't settle on the stock "yellow" canopy which came with my kit. My new canopy shipped today. This is before clearcoat...
