Really...

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhGtG3N2tgI[/ame]

I think they fly OK

The cheap blades are a great way to relieve some of the anxiety of trying new stuff, or training your thumbs to come down a little. I still think good blades have merit, I just don't think you can say they fly twice as good as cheap blades. But there is some risk in using them, and ya can't whine if they fail and you crash!

Indeed man, I just ordered a set of the TP's, so many positive reviews from you and many others that I just couldn’t resist. They are gonna be my 'feeling confident but not gonna try anything new today' blades and I'm gonna stick with the few cheapo stealth sets I have for everything else.

Great thread snj, really appreciate all the time you took comparing and reviewing all those different sets. Awesome!

WOW thanks SNJ!!!! You fly 1000 times better than i can so I know those will be a great way to start flying carbon, right now im using cheap fiberglass china imported blades, theyre great for learning and much safer to run at 3100 than the woodies. Great Data btw!

Wow are those pro 3D blades? I do have to say I only used the 600mm pro 3D blades. Could never connect with the heli using those blades. Maybe the 325's are better. Nice vid.

Yes they are the 3D Pros, I got them from HeliPartz at less than 8 bucks a set?

Don't get me wrong, I still think name brand blades are the best, but I am using the el cheap-o- blades to help keep costs down, and these are really quite good!

Hey what ever works. I guess I'm fully addicted to rotortechs. Just put a set of 430 rotortechs on my logo 400 and I got a extra minute flight time. Swear on my life.

Rotor Tech 430 angle tips
Edge 423 FBL
Radix
Maniac

On a FB machine
Align 425Ds
SAB white and gray 430s
G5s
Edge 423 whites
Torsion

But I can do further testing, I have only been flying FBL on my own machine since my birthday in August. I still have much to learn!

Yes my first set finally broke, they do not have the wood as the name brand blades do, Foam all the way down, may be why some guys are having bolt hole failures?

Default Chaneleon 325 blades

Has anyone tried the Chameleon 325mm blases yet?

http://www.cermark.com/products/CHAM...tor-blade.html

I see they are foam core, that seems to be a no, no from most of the reviews I've read recently......

Yes the inside of the airfoil of the blade is foam on all the 325ish blades I've seen. it is the root were the blade goes into the grip that is wood on many of the high end blades, and foam on the 3DPro.

Sorry, I thought that some of them had wood cores, but I must have mis-read.

I know that Vblades in the larger sizes have wood cores... But I don't know if the 325s do, or if they even had 325s? The 425D blades from Align are wood core, and the 600D Pro blades have a wood core...

Most CF blades are foam core... Even if it’s for full scale. The blades on my friend’s mosquito are foam core along with the blades for my stepfather’s old trike and the original prop for his current airplane. For full scale I have seen many hollow variants as well... Like the blades on his constant speed prop for example. The interesting part is the different variants of foam. Like the aligns for example are made with a foam that is injected into the blade during the molding process while the stealth blades use a pre-cut piece of foam and a wood strip which get covered with CF.
