Thank you William. It took some time, but today I made it out for a maiden. Everything worked out fine. It's big, very big in the air. Down next to a 700 it doesn't look that huge.

Very very nice. The quality of the video is great. Damn this makes me miss my 700 banshee and giving up my spot for no 48 850, but got my self into another part of the hobby which is taking a lot of my funds.

thanks - since I have/had a lot of 700+ heli's so far and some (like TDR, Diabolo, HD750) are great flying machines with their own cool characteristics the Banshee 850 still is in its own class.
Due to very low weight and CG its extremely fast and agile but still somehow on rails in fast and large maneuvers.
Currently flying it mostly at 1200 and 1400 rpm myself while my son is mostly flying it at 1400 rpm. Its setup for up to 1900 rpm at the moment. However I will play in the lower numbers first and do some tuning on the higher rpm a bit later.

I was a bit skeptical first with the very light weight and windy conditions. However wind in FL at this time of the year is the normal situation. So I am very impressed that sure the wind has a large target but you can easy play with it and actually its not as sensitive to the wind as I would have expected.

For the moment it does get most of the flight time at the field.

Both machines (my son's and mine)will certainly gain lots of flight time within the next year

I definitely can confirm its an awesome machine with a lot of nice details, love the sand blasted parts on it as well as the thick tail boom and the canopy fastener.
