Default help with my gaui 425 and futaba gy611

I need help.. lots of help I think.. I setup a gaui 425, and bought a really nice tail gyro. but its spinning out of controll.. I cant even get it to take off yet.. it spins so fast the battery is ejected.. I need setup help for the gyro, not sure if the gyro is spinning the tail the proper way.. ( I have a feeling it isnt.) it spun so fast the last time the battery was ejected, and the tailrotor sliced the battery. ruining one of the cells.. I can prolly salvage the other cells but I'm upset..

it looks like the CC bec failed at the same time, destroying the tail servo.. I dont know if the gyro or amp unit survived as of yet.. the amp unit does come up. but I dont know what else died.. the collective servos and rx respond as normal. but I dont have a spare one of those tail servos..

please help a intermediate lvl noob.

I would reverse the gyro and see if that fixed it. You can hold the copter and NOT run the motor. Just turn the copter and see if the tail is trying to stop the turn by moving the rotor in the direction to stop the rotation. If so gyro is right if not reverse it.

I would start with checking the following:
- gyro logs in - if yes when you move the tail left-right the servo will react somehow
- belt - spin the main rotor clockwise - the tail rotor should spin opposite
- TX tail servo reverse - stand behind the heli, left stick left (mode 2) - tail slider goes opposite direction and vice versa - stick to the right, slider to the left (moveing towards to the tail boom)
- gyro reverse - turn the tail clock wise - the gyro in HH mode should react by moving the tail slider to the right (when you stand behind the heli, tail closer to you), or in other words it moves further from the tail boom
- and make sure the tail blades are oriented properly

I bet it is one (or both) of the reverse...

I think what my problem was that the gyro was set reversed and that caused the spin out, I cant check till I order a replacement bls251, it seems to be fried.. no response at all. I'm going to prolly go for a wr super bec, cause I've had enough of CC bec's that pass full battery voltage when they fail.

unless someone can recommend a good bec that can supply 6 volts at 3-4 amps from a 6s pack

I contacted them and they said that would never happen on one of thier bec's so I ordered one thanks for the recommendation
its cheaper than the wr one, and since my servos use 2 amps or less(if I mash the controlls around). esp the way I fly.. (still in hover training) it should be plenty
