Default I am free!

Now that I have escaped from the garage, I am waiting for it to warm up a bit! Or learn how to fly at -15c.

Learned some things from this thread and spent way to much money. But it definitely flies solid and it's a lot of fun.

Where is the snow? Been a "normal" winter finally here in Ohio. I haven't seen the grass for a couple months. Cool pic anyways.

Default RKH 120SR w/SMD LED's

I happen to like “bling”. And the lights help me see it when the light is less than perfect. I did remove the RKH flybar. It flies better with the stock one. The lights are 1206 SMD LED’s soldered to the main battery lead.

What do you want from cell phone pics. Lol. Glad you like it. I was shocked someone didn't jump on buying it the minute I put it up. I practically gave it away

I agree!! At your first asking price it was a steal, but I had just purchased one before you put yours up. When you dropped the price I had to jump on it.

Here's mine. Extreme canopy. Extreme motor with heat sink and zip-tied. MIA Tuff landing gear. Wish I would have seen the Align mod first. May still do it. We'll see how this holds up. Also picked up a set of blades that others say work great. Not shown. Still need a new swash and want the CF blade grips. Then I'm done. I can't leave anything alone. Lol.

Heres my 120 it was my first hobby grade heli. Took me a few days to hover in my living room. Im finally getting the hang of it tho. I really enjoy it. Still haven't went to advanced swash setting tho.

Im waiting on my mia phantom combo kit to arrive. As you can tell my skids are barely together. Heat shrink really helps them to stay together tho if you ever break your skids.

Definitely want to graduate to a 200srx soon.

So here is my stock 120 SR. Intending buy 250 landing skids this weekend. Going to spend time on improvements during the not so ideal winter weather.

Just spent time doing the paint job on the swash paddles and tail rotor for visibility and aesthetics.

Hi nmsuman
My bird is posted above yours. If you want good fitting skids, try the xtreme align 250 skids. I have the stock align 250 skids on my stock bird, there about a 1/4" taller and stiffer. The xtreme one's come black, the stock one's have to be dyed if you want them black. Use 3mm spacers between the skids and frame, so your maine gear dosen't hit them. Also 4-40 cap screws work perfect in the skid frame holes, I used 3/4" long. Just screw them right in. On the bird above with the microheli frame I had to tap them with a 4-40 tap. You can get them from Xtreme or on ebay. Don't cut them out in the middle ( like some I have seen) to miss the gear, you will lose all strength and integrity of the skids. You'll love the Etremes.

IRZ50,

Thanks for the tip. I'll make sure to look. I appreciate it. I am tired of watching the ones that come with it break and deform. I did like the ones in your photo.
