I have new Turnigy & Zippy 40c 5000 and 4000 packs and Gens Ace 25c 4000 packs. I'll see if the 4000's balance and use them if they do.

I have stock, KBDD and Edge 115's to try out. I'll start with the 115's just because they are the biggest.

I was thinking about buying 115's myself. Im wondering if they will clear with Edge 813's. I guess I'll find out.

Edge 813's and 115's have been reported to colide using the stock frame.

Yeah, I hope Edge decides to make a 793mm blade. I can't imagine 110mm or less will suffice on an 800. I'd think 120mm would be about right.

Well I started taking apart my 700 last night. I got most of everything I need off it. I'm wondering if I should look into the third bearing block upgrade since I'm swinging 800mm blades with this frame. I'm sure it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Third bearing block is a great upgrade. also as far as tails go, I am running 800mm align mains and Edge 115's, no problems at all. I did not go with edge 813's due to there weight.

For the 3rd bearing block. Its just the same part number as the other two align blocks right? Then I need the CHP main shaft extension pin. Or would it be better to get the KDE 3rd bearing upgrade kit. As long as it fits the CHP DL frames.

Not sure, I used the KDE 3rd block. It came with the MS extension.

Ok thanks Dave. I ordered the 11t pinion and some other parts from you for this build. Im still thinking about the motor. I was reading some of your other posts about your 800. Did you end up testing a few different motors? Any conclusion?

I cant seem to find the dimensions on the KDE 3rd bearing block. Im looking for the center to center distance of the mounting screws. Since the CHP DL frames are predrilled for a 3rd bearing block. I would like to make sure the distance is the same on the KDE as the factory Align bearing blocks.

Ok, I was just wondering because the stock 700E frame is not predrilled for a 3rd bearing block from Align. The KDE upgrade comes with a template to drill the holes in the frames. However the DL frames are already drilled. I just wanted to make sure it was the same.

I thought the 700E frames have been shipping lately with pre-drilled holes for the 3rd block?

I do too. Mine was actually pre ordered before the stateside release. Got my kit 3 days after they hit the states. So mine has the shorter rails and no 3rd block holes. but I installed the KDE block and it took all but 15 minutes. the template was simple to use. Holes were easy to drill. you wont be disappointed. KDE did a wonderful job on these.
