Default Tail pushrod

I have the upgraded tail pushrod with the aluminum bits near the end but is it the same length for stretch and non-stretch? Mine used to be stretch (how i got it) and after putting it in....cant figure if it will work on stock length just to see the difference if its worth the stretch boom and belt cost since mine is light either way

Its like this one, might be the same

Got the heli preowned so not positive on every last part

The stretch and non-stretch use the same "ultra" pushrod. It's just that on the stretch you install an extension on the end to make it a little longer. The extension comes with the stretch kit. You can see it in the picture here...

I think you have to remove a shorter extension piece from the standard "ultra" pushrod to install the longer extension, so if you don't have that piece you might just have to fashion one from another piece of threaded rod.

I think the stretch is really only worth it if you want to run 4S. At least that's my opinion. It'll work on 3S, but it makes for short flights.

Ok I'll take a second look....I just really liked the floaty feel but maybe its the same with stock length.....i just need some parts and buying new is kinda high for cheap quality and only plastic (cost adds up) so I'm looking for some parts lots to buy....

Why not just cut your own out of some carbon rod? It would no doubt be cheaper and lighter.

Jay, the tail control rod was made from cf rod to match the length of the stretch tail i had put on her.
Should be able to cut it down and re-epoxy if going back to stock length

Yah i got another 300x so i might keep stretch on the one u gave me, and i also have a bunch of upgrades on the way so that will be my smack setup and the mostly stock one will be for smooth casual flying....
