only ones already posted in the progress report section. When the weather pics up i will try and get some video of some of my newer manouvers such as backwards circuits, better chaos, inverted figure of 8's, very low tic-tocs and sideways tic-tocs etc.

HeliYea, sorry for the late reply. Amazing progress in a week! Damn you and your hot weather and windless days

I will ask someone to video my flying next time I go to the field. After seeing your video I am going to give it my all Thing is, like I have said many times before I know how to fly a heli like a pro on the sim but in real life I am too scared to try things. It's the bad weather here that gives me next to no flying time out in a field which is holding my confidence back. F**k it, next time I go to the field I am going to fly the heck out of that thing even if it costs £50 repairs. Sorry for complaining but this bad weather really pisses me off.

Does anyone know where I can get a drug which makes me think I am in a computer game? That would help

-Jonny

When the weather finally gives me a chance too I will try and take a vid

Spending soo much time on the sim is good for getting used to tricks etc But you dont get the adrenaline as like in real life which is what makes flying the helicopter more exciting. You also dont get the scared feeling of flying when on the sim. So it's not just the 'knowing the controls' its the whole experience of the real thing is what makes it hard and challenging. Does anyone else agree?

Hope that makes sense.

-Jonny

I agree 100% in the last vid I was relaxed so I could fly more like the sim. Though the first pack (not on film) I was feeling the jitters. I find I fly better on any pack after the first on any given day cause it gives you the chance to warm up and get rid of some of those jitters!

Unfortunately for the belt, it is about to be cannibalized by my new CopterX. Can't wait to get it in the air, just need to get better at inverted...

Thanks a lot guys. Once I got nose-in figured out, I just kinda went for it. I love the adrenaline rush you get when you try a new maneuver!

By the way, I didn't realize until about a minute and a half into the flight that I was still on low rates! It flew a lot better after that

This is a vid of the park a couple of days after the last vid and now this is my best flying to date! Even with very limited time to fly outside I have made a lot of progress! Well see for yourself!

Thanks Ber Glad to be back! The crash was my fault but not pilot error I tightened the zip tie too tight holding the servo wires tidy making the ele.servo only halfway plugged and the piros set it loose! But as I said very minor damage! I like the vid alot too I just over look the crash!

Hi Chad. I noticed the forum was more quite without you. I started to wonder where you were. Glad your back.

Nice flying. Shame you don't have someone else with you so they can follow the heli with the camera and zoom in etc.

Keep up the good flying.

Not really we just had an 81F and a 76F and our first snow was only an inch a week ago but today freezing drizzle high of 32F burr! It has been like spring all fall very weird! It has kept me working more which is good but it is always very windy even in the vids the wind is blowing about 15mph! (a calm day)

You don't get to see all the piro moves and huge stall turns either. I'll have to train my cats to be the film crew getting anyone to go to the park with me is like pulling teeth!
