The canopy producer has some delay so it will be at least first/second week of november.
So hold on and feed your desire with the manual and youtube movies untill its released
We'll take it sans canopy and those can be shipped later.

I like to fly without canopy, it's nice to look at the skinny frame instead of the canopy
I can live with that for 15 days or so, no problema!!

You guys are too funny .... admittedly, I could easily go sans canopy for the time being as well, but hey, I'll just have to scratch my itch with the Atom 500 and 7HV for the time being.

Is everyone pre[ordering with motor and blades or would it be cheaper to go the other way?

I've went with the complete kit.
The kv's in the compass motor are not that popular, so instead of having trial and error with other motors, i'll use Compass motor.

thats what i figured...im having thoughts of gutting one of mine (to keep the nice FB head or the so-so FBL head...hmm) and dumping components into a warp. If i play it right the misses will think it adheres to the "one in one out" policy that is now in effect after the X5 showed up...

Is the 1700KV motor not going to give way too much headspeed? Stock motor is 1300KV.
Or are there going to be smaller pinions available right away?
I have tried a 1630KV on a mini Protos, my Koby 55 couldn't handle it, had to get a 14th pinion for it which was never in stock....With a 16th on it @10% throttle the headspeed was still insane and like I said the Koby kept going into 9 blinks....
