I think the green mesh canopy and blades should go on the green frame. Would look cool to see green frame through the green canopy. Just thinking.

The Lynx canopy doesn't fit on the posts on the rakon frame. Pretty bummed out

Well, that's weird. Does the stock canopy fit the posts of the Rakon frame? Does the Lynx canopy fit the posts of the stock frame?

Just trying to figure out how parts that nominally should all be compatible with stock parts wouldn't be compatible with each other...??

Or are the posts the wrong diameter or something?

The rakon frame mounts are a little further back on the top posts. The lynx canopy fits fine on the sock frame. stock and xtreme canopies barely "stretch" on the rkh frame
the lynx also fits fine on a stock frame with the nano pin fixer gizmo

oh heres some more pics so this is kind of on topic
Broke my xtreme dfc in mid flight before idle up 1 even
and did a direct solder hh brushless stuff

Someone should steal this idea. I wish that I could put my nano in front of a camera every day that I've flown it. The time lapse of its wear and tear construction and destruction would be just great looking.

Default Upgrades...

I bought a Nano CPX to distract myself over the winter. In the end it turned into a mini-obsession all of it's own and I've just finished upgrading it (for now) so I thought I'd share. Had a lot of fun doing this and some adventures along the way, including burning up the tail FET. I'm not flying 3D yet, but it flies circuits very well, super stable in a hover and seems to have plenty of power.

Here are the upgrades for anyone that is interested:

Lynx V2 Pro Swashplate
Lynx DFC Head
HH Brushless Main Motor Upgrade (no Pjacq or AD kits seem to be available at the moment)
Lynx Super Precise Bearings
Lynx Carbon Skids
Solid 2mm Carbon Boom - 125mm length
28AWG Tail Motor Wire (data wires from a USB cable)
Fusuno Carbon Vertical Stabilizer
Xtreme 7mm Tail Motor
Lynx Ultra Tail Motor Support
Lynx 42mm Tail Prop
Lynx Bullet Blades - 85mm
New Tail Motor Mosfet

Any suggestions or comments welcome.

And here's the Yellow Xtreme canopy, with a Microheli yellow tail blade.
