Purplebottom Registered Users Join Date: Aug 2012	"Typical" FPV gear weight Howdy Folks, I promised I tried a forum search on this subject and didn't find what I was looking for. I recently put together a Protos stretched kit and would like get an idea how she would fly with the typical FPV payload. Realizing that there are hundreds of combinations of rx/tx, cameras, batteries, antennas, etc, I am probably going to get a very wide range of possibilities. If you have weighed your FPV gear would you mind giving me a ballpark idea of what I can expect for payload? I would like to play around with different weights, blades, and different headspeeds to get an reasonable idea of flight time and flight characteristics. I have been able to get 14 minutes of hovering using SAB 465 symmetrical blades (6s - 3300mAh). I have a set of spin blades coming and I plan on doing more experimenting with a realistic payload as soon as I get them on! Love the videos!
