Default Basement flying CP suggestions...

After upgrading the Tx (Devo 10 w/software upgrade) for my 120 SR, my confidence is way up. Flying much better and getting bored to some extent. 450 build planned for the spring but I would like an indoor CP bird to get practiced hovering etc, while the weather outside is terrible. Thinking the 180 CFX, but is it to big and too powerful for flying in a basement sized area? I know there are alternatives but a bird big enough to take to the yard on a calm day would be nice, just not sure if a crossover type bird is out there.

For obvious reasons, I'd like something compatible with the Tx, so Devo or DSM2/X. Prefer to stay ~$200ish, and reasonable safe to fly alone in the basement area.

180CFX is way to big for all the best basement fliers.

If you can do a 180CFX in a basement, you are already a sponsored flier...or soon will be.

Nano.

Exploring the other side of the disk: Taranis (+OrangeRX). nanoCPX (AD mild-BLv2), mCPX dbl-BL (BLHeli XP-12A/HP10+XP-7A/HP03T-4000KV), Align-AD Trex 150 (BLheli+HP8).

+1 on the Nano CPX. Even the mCPX BL is a little big for me to fly in my basement. All I can really do with it is hover around practicing orientation. I can actually fly circuits and whatnot indoors with my Nano.
