Default *Official*- Logo 480xx Battery Thread!

I made this thread for a convenient place to find all the batteries that fit the Logo 480xx as this is beginning to get a lot of activity.

So post up which batteries your running and the fit/space of the batteries!

I think this will help new 480xx owners to pick out the best battery for them..

(Add C rating and Performance/Flight times)

I will start.

Currently running Revoelectrix 3700mah 60c and they are a little tight. (Close to pinion) I would recommend getting a lower C rating as they will give you a little bit more room.

I have GForce Elite 3300's 40c and Glaicer 3300's 30c, both fit with no problem and get about 4-5 min of flight with 2200-2400 rpm beating on it pretty hard.

I'm running Pulse 3700mah 45c packs. Flights are around 4 minutes at high HS, battery fit is tight, but not too tight

I'm using Glacier 3700 35c packs. They fit great when I first got them. There is some puffing now and not sure how long I will be able to use them.

Pulse 45C 3700mah packs here. I fly 6 minutes with a starting head speed of 2380. It drops off quite noticeably as the flight goes on though :-(. Not a huge deal, but could be better.

The fit allows much flexibility for CG and height and width are perfect for sliding into the frame. A tad close to the pinion but nothing a good strap won't take care of. Put the pack in metal side up ;-)

Anyone able to update on this?

Recently picked up some Revolectrix GOPacks 40C 3700mAh 6s packs for my new 480, but they don't really fit, they hit the pinion if I push them too far back so my only choice is to have a forward CG. Looking for packs that will 100% fit under the pinion so I can slide them back far enough, and hopefully, won't break the bank...
