Default Powerlab 6 Safety Code 46?

Hey guys, last night while charging I got this Safety Code 46, SVS System Reset. I looked in the manual and all it say for SVS System Reset is: Check the Supply Wiring. I assume it's talking about the power supply. Today I hooked up another known good PSU and it still says same thing. Both of my power supplies are good. I think my unit is bricked!! Thankfully it's still under warranty.

Any thoughts?

Are you still using the stock EC5 connector? What kind of wiring is between the power supply and the charger's EC5? Are there any adapters? What kind of power supplies are these?

I'm not using EC5's. I am using bullet connectors. This error just happened in the middle of a charge. I am running a 1400w 24v set up.

Just to make sure I have a seperate 600w 12v power supply with a EC5 connector. I soldiered on a EC5 to the Powerlab, but I still got the error.

Probably worth contacting FMA on Monday.

Hi:

1) I'd swap out any bullet connectors for good quality, EC5 connectors.

2) I'd double-check all of my solder connections if I were you.

Sounds like a cold solder joint on the input.

Also, make sure you have the input current limit and input low voltage set up correctly for your power supply.
