Yes, I can go higher, but the climb rate is slow. It's just an experiment. The servos suffer with so much load |

On the output of the main motor there is a capacitor apparently identical to the output of the tail motor. I have not measured, but I suppose they have the same capacitive value. |

I will probably do LiftBag's dual mosfet conversion when i change the tail motor (if it will be damaged due to the capacitor missing) and not be bothered with soldering the capacitor back. will probably be better when i change to 120sr tail i guess... (see my convers with liftbag) Last edited by omerco; 10-08-2011 at 04:47 AM.. |

Here is the motor. It's the HP05s chose the 9 tooth pinion. http://www.chinesejade.com/walkera43BLMotorEsc.htm Here is the signal converter. Its the $15 one if you live in the states There is no resistor on this converter so it needs to be soldered on the spot on the back of the board. http://thesteve.ca/walkera/ Here is another converter. This one has a resistor installed. So you can solder to the main motor + terminal. It's easier to solder to this point but throttle response isn't as good. http://www.wowhobbies.com/thestevebl...converter.aspx Here is the helimax esc that he is using. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Brushless-ESC |

That is very cool. I took a slightly different route with my heli setup. I replaced the e-flite power harness with a dual harness with thicker wire. I am running two 300ma 1cell in parallel. My setup used to bog down with the stock harness with the pitch set to 70 or above. Now I have the option of running it with a single cell, or two singles in parallel, and it doesn't bog down even if I only plug in one cell. I currently have my pitch set at 86%.
