Default FREE sat. receiver connector GONE

I have a zyx09 wire that is free to whoever wants it. I'm getting away from the zyx and going with a ar7200bx. I also have a bluetooth dongle I'll through in. PM me if interested

I've been having some issues with it and my servos. Out of nowhere, it just started causing my servos to go bonkers. I thought it was a ESD problem, but when I benched it and started checking things out, I knew it was the zyx. Cost me a brand new set of Align 3d blades. Don't get me wrong, I'm not ragging the unit. It's working for many, many pilots. I figure I've already upgraded about everything on this bird, and now I have to replace the FBL controlor, so I may as well go for broke.

I think it's worth resurrecting this old thread just to let others know of what happened to jbobb's ZYX.

I'm currently in possession of the wonky gyro and have done some testing. It turns out the OP actually did have a bad ZYX-S. The first port on the gyro (PIT/AUX/ELE) is making poor/intermittent contact due to multiple cold solder joints. The gyro is not receiving any signal on the pitch and elevator channels.

I reflowed all the joints between the 3-pin connector board and the main gyro PCB and this has completely eliminated the problem with the pitch and elevator channels.
