It should work fine. I actually modified an Optic 6 to replace the 72MHz Tx board with one out of a Spektrum DX6. Works great!

I'm using my old optic 6 to fly my Raptor 50. I can't control the GV-1 with just 6 channels (the Gy-401 needs the extra channel to even work), so I have to set a single RPM and have it slaved to the throttle (throttle stick above 20% and RPM above 70% of set value and the governor takes over, then turns off when I throttle down again), but this works pretty well. It should keep me flying until I can afford a better transmitter anyway.

hello you guys
i wonder if you can help. i have an optic 6 with a peculiar problem. my elevator input disappers sometimes. yester morning i switched it on and it worked fine i changed a couple of settings and what would you know gone is the elevator inputs. i reset the channels and still nothing i dont get it. is there a problem with these radios or am i just stupid. i ve studied the manual back to front and nowhere does it mention anything of the kind. what bothers me is that a mate or ours had the same problem and apparently someone he knew in another city changed a couple of settings and now it works fine. please guys any help will do.

thank you
wickus
