Default What did you do to your BL NANO Today?

Since the regular nano forum has this thread, why not for the bl nano????

I got mine back from NCCraig yesterday and flew it for the first time this morning! Its AWESOME!!! I have the Mild kit with a extended solid boom with upgraded wires and she flies awesome!! I even flew it with one of my bad batteries andshe still flew awesome! THanks NCCRaig!

I use it to learn to fly inverted. I can crash it over and over no problem.

I bounced it off the walls a dozen or so times trying to learn how to fly CP. Slow going but making progress!

Epic crash coming out of a high speed loop directly into a fence! It was awesome! Now got to get it binding again.

Flew two packs and gave up until my 35C EFlites arrive. So much bog and TBO

Soldered battery connector direct to BL ESC using 20awg wire and took it for a quick test. Wow! Made a very large difference, bogging is non-existant! Too bad it's very windy and yard is flooded or I would've kept flying.

I did the same thing last night...made a HUGE difference (I put up a thread about it).

I used 22 gauge, but that is pretty thick. I would have gone smaller, but I had it laying around so I used it

It was your post that inspired me to do it!
I only used 20awg wire though.

I tried the head kit O-ring mod out tonight. Seems a lot stiffer but I'll give it a chance on a few more flights.Might just need a little more time to get used to it.Certainly different flight caracteristics.

Servo wore disconnected from board. Removed servo and resoldered loose wire. Reassembled and now the left servo is binding against the motor unless I have it super loose again. Add that to the major bogging and TBO that I'm still getting with my new broken in 35C EFlites and I'm tempted to go back to brushed...

My MILD NANO developed a little tail wag and kick today after a blade strike against a brick wall. So i took the feathering shaft out and sure enough its bent, so off to the LHS tomorrow to grab a new one and i will be in the air again tomorrow night

Try straightening it out yourself. It doesn't have to be 100%. I did mine and it worked fine. You still might want a set to keep as a backup but there's no need to spend $6-$7 each time one is bent.

Got frustrated after replacing the main shaft helped a little bit with the bogging and them introduces the problem of a wandering tail and TBO when just hovering with no rudder input.

Replaced the frame on my newly bought "wild" pjacq nano. Thing went together easy-peasy. Flew it around the bedroom some afterward, the cats scattered under the bed and the wife told me she'd better hide her toes. . Nearly hit the ceiling with it on first spoolup.

Told her I'd fly it outside from now on and use the stocker inside.
