Default Tail Control Rod Question

I recently purchased A Hurri and it came with a Carbon Frame. Going
over the parts, I noticed that the tail control rod is straight, no bends.
Is this normal for this frame?

Thanks,
Jim

Yes. it doesn't need the bend to get around the side of the frame...in fact mine came with the tail mouted servo brackets.

Thanks for the quick reply. I noticed that this type wasn't listed
as a repair part in the instrctions. Are they available?

Mine came with the straight tail pushrod as well and when used with the boom mounted servo it has a nasty little bend to it. I opted to go with a CF rod after flying with the stock pushrod. The stock one worked but the bend bothered me.

i also boom mount my servo and i used a QuickUK raptor 30/50 carbon pushrod upgrade cut to length to fit the hurricane, the parts are really cheap and it's a great setup with no slop or bend, plus it's reasonably light too the parts i used are

Thanks Guys! I'll look around and see if I can get those links. The carbon
rod shouldn't be a problem. Thanks to your posts, it dawned on me what
those two Aluminum plates were for; servo mount! Duuh!! I might go ahead
and bite the bullet and get a Z20. At the price of batteries, I can't afford to
be killing them.
