Default Anyone Using BK Mini servos on Protos 500 Carbon Edition

Hi,

Is anyone using BK Mini Servos on protos 500 (Carbon Frame) on the cyclics. Bought these for my Trex 500 DFC and they do not fit.Planning to buy Protos 500 next week and would like to know anyone has successfully mounted them.

I run one on my tail, but not my cyclics. That said, I have read conflicting info on them fitting cyclic due to the added width of the standard motor can in them. Some have had issues and I believe others have been able to mod to make them fit. The elevator servo isn't an issue. But the aileron and pitch servos may be.

I use them on my cyclic but I have a plastic version.. You can see the motor can is in the way, I can see why it would be difficult to fit them in a carbon chassis. Wish I could help more. They will definitely bow the carbon frame over the motor. you can see it on mine, but after using them..It seems more of a gain in flight than a lil imperfection on the (plastic) frame they fly OUTSTANDING
