One way to do this is with the usb interface. You can downlad the needed software on the hacker website.

/ good luck

How do I connect the ESC to the USB. And which version of the software is needed.
Tried to connect, but the software did not recognised the ESC.
Do I need some special protocol or so?
Cannot find it in the manual.

Don't try to program the X-70 it comes pre-programmed. It's a really simple speed controller with no fancy governors to set or anything like that. Just plug it all in and set your throttle curves.

I tried to program my one once to lower the soft start time and it's really confusing. I ended up accidently switching from heli mode to airplane mode (nothing to tell you what mode is what etc..) and striped half the gears off my Logo 400's main gear the next time I tried to fly it.

You might not need extra software or settings, however if you like to use the vbar electric governor with your hacker esc you need to download and put the rigth firmware into the esc.

http://www.hacker-motor.com/en/downloads/index.html

I use the hacker esc which was in the 500 super combo in my logo 400 and miniV bar. it works very nice and on top you can use autoratation bailout mode through the vbar governor. at least if you're still learning onto autorotation.

ok Thanks.
We will fly it without V-bar, so we don't need the USB-link.

what pinion are you running? if its a 12 tooth( which is what comes in the super combo kit), then yes it will be limited to 1800 to 1900rpm.

a larger pinion is what is needed.... 15 tooth or 16 tooth. but keep in mind that you'd also need a 100A esc to handle the increased current.

the kontronik 100LV combined with a 15 tooth pinion would be the most straightforward way to increase performance of the logo500 super combo. the Kontronik has a very nice built in BEC that is compatible with buffer pack. it has a very nice built in governor.

for me... I use a castle 100, with a phase sensor, 15 tooth pinion, Vbar gov, VBAR pro firmware and I use a Life RX pack instead of the BEC. I do not use the buffer pack.. that is the extent of the modifications I made to my super combo. which is still good for 2200 to 2300 RPM. which provides a very nice mix between power and flight time.
