Default how to bind v1 and v2 mcpx to new dx6

Just purchased two used mcpx, version 1 and 2. Can any one advise the correct binding procedure? The manual shows dx6i, dx8 and the manuals instructions differ from what I have seen on some posts.

I have tried the dx8 settings. I did this on both my v2 and Bl. The v2 flew fine the Bl had the worst tail wag ever. Binding is simple as usual. Turn heli on bind button power tx shut off heli then tx then turn tx back on finally the heli wait for blue light.

Simple steps...

1) insert battery into the heli and plug it in...(radio off)
2) wait for quick-flashing blue light
3) Walk at least 12-15 feet away (to avoid over-powering the heli board with RF)
4) Hold bind button...turn on TX power
5) Heli will bind, blue light solid
6) Fly...no need to turn it on/off, it's ready to go

This assumes your mCPX has only been bound to a digital radio...if it's been bound to an analog radio prior, there's a specific sequence for switching to a digital...

I think it's collective stick bottom right corner...then normal bind procedure above

Mine is pretty much the stock Blade settings...

Most important is the pitch servo travel...use that to control tail blowout unless you've got a better tail motor...

I also use a deep V throttle curve (for stock brushed motor) in IU Modes...100-80-60-80-100 is a good place to start

So I have a couple different setup models in my DX8. However I can only have my mcpx bound to one model at a time. Is this correct or can I bind one heli to different models?

Any heli can only be bound to one radio model...

Switch models and you must re-bind

I have 3 mcpx, one v1 and two v2.

All three use separate models on the Tx.
No need to rebind after initial setup bind, just switch the model over as appropriate.
