Default Futaba bls273sv and bls 275sv

Hi,

Is the futaba bls 273sv the best fbl servo to use in a 700 size model, I'm trying to pick servos for a trex 700n dfc. From what I have read lots of people are using them? Can anyone give me the laymans reasons why its the better servo to use?

Looking at the futaba site I see there is also a futaba bls 275 servo with similar specs but its quoted as having a hybrid gear, and it also looks like it has a nice metal top to it, could someone explain this please?

And finely where does the bls 272sv come in, what application is that most suited for? I have these fitted in an n5c, good or bad? 273 better?

Confused . com, could someone please explain my best way forward?

kind regards,

Dave

The bls273sv and 275sv is exactly the same servo eksept the metal upper case. And price
The 73 and 75 are targeting the 800size heli.
The bls 272sv is a 700size servo
Not saying you can't run the 273/275 in a 700, but is it really a need fore it hehe.

I'm not sure if this applies to both the 272 and 273 but I know that the 273 is what Futaba calls a FBL optimized and tuned servo (tolerate higher gain's)

I run the 273sv and 276sv combo in my Goblin 770.
And by the way. The 272sv is just the Sbus version of the bls255HV.

BLS272SV is the best for a 700 size heli. Those others are just too big and heavy. Best to loose the weight than have more torque that you never actually use.

Are you saying the gears are identical too? That's not what the specs say. I'm considering these for a Logo 700 XXtreme running 753mm blades.

DR Ben told me that they where exactly the same eksept from the upper case. Plastic on the 273's and mettal on the 275's.
What specs are you talking about ? On the Futaba site it stands HG on the 275's (fore hybrid gears) and there is no info about the gears in the 273's. But I know they are hybrid cause I run them in my goblin 770 whith out any problems. 273-275 are Futabas 800 class servo
