Default Setting up new MiniTitan V2

This is my first build & set up. The GT5.1 is out of MT325s, setting are all stock 325s settings except for servo adjustments. I set the end point for the tail hitec 5085, centered the cyclic`s (5065s) so the swash is level throughout pitch range after getting as close as I could mechanically. Did a couple test hover`s & something is not right. Thinking of upping the P value to start, but thought I`d ask here first.

Its a slow tail wag
What are your P, I and D-sense tail settings?

You could try: Increasing P gain
That should solve your Problem

If you can't get your wag fixed by P-raising completely, you could slightly overtune P and increase D-Sense a bit.
But this will, most likely, get you a whimmering tail sound in Speed flights. (as you're using an improved landing gear, I dont think, that you'll do them in the near future)

I could also be possible that I gain is way to high (I is for constant pirouette rates, to high I Gain makes also a slow wag)

But first i'd try P increasing.

edit: whats the distance between the 5085 center + linkgabe Ball? You might need to put the linkage one hole outwards.

(damn i've forgotten all my english...)

Thanks, I'll try that. I did read it, but that was before I started using it. I will read it again.

Well I went through 5 batteries trying to get this thing set right, but not there yet.

One big problem I had was servo speed was too low. GT5 servo speed only goes up to .12? and my tail servo is suppost to be .1275. Cyclics are good @ .105.

Another issue was piro correction was reversed. So it's much better, but I still can't get the tail solid, it rebounds a bit on stops. I've played with P, I, D, up & down, as well as deadband & smooth stop a bit. Started looking over possible mechanical set up problems, but everything looks good. Anyhow I have to put it down for a while, so I'll play with it some more when I have time.

I'm getting good at navigating the GT5, and love being able to land, adjust, fly, but I'm a bit frustrated Hopefully I can figure it out.
