I discovered this problem while in flight. The drive shaft is too far forward and not engaged into the rear gear. Remove the tail boom assembly and push the shaft into the rear gear and reinstall the assembly.

I'm surprised you can put it together this way. Mine became disengaged after I bounded off the ground. We all know what happens then.

Sorry, can't help you with a beast x. Maybe some one will chime in or try posting in a different forum section.

Messed with my servo and set up the center up again and it works. Had a great flight but, the esc shut down it was really hot and the motor was hot. Is is 98 F here with 55 humidity.
Both the motor and esc were so hot that I could not keep my finger on either one of them. GUess I will have to fly at sunrise when its cooler or just fly the sim till i get home.
I don't know what my head speed was I was going to check it once I landed but, it decided to land itself. Great landing no damage. This this is light.
12s with 2600.

Pretty hard to comment without a bit more info like. Motor, esc, batteries, motor pinion used.

Cheers,
TomC

Stock pinion, idle up was 75% on futaba 14sg
quantum 4125 560
Hobby wing 70amp the same that was no my 6hv.
Use a flight battery no bec. Stock blades but tail had kbb blades.
I used the same settings my 6hv and got around 2100 rpms. Its too hot here in the middle east. No grass just sand and rock

Which stock pinion? Mine came with both a 13t and 15t pinion.

Also what is 12s 2600? (12s 2600mahr?). C-rating?

Cheers,
TomC

Mine only came with a 15t
Gens ace 2700 35c
It did not burn us the motor and esc started when it cooled down. Maybe the high humidity and sun reflecting off the rocks made it hot. It seems hotter than other places I have been.
I will try flying at sunrise when its cooler and see if any difference. This is the same setting on my 6hv. Nothing Changed. I still have one higher throttle up to try.
This thing is real agile and quick.
Wish I brought my temp gauge.

Pretty hot setup with 15t and I'm surprised your 70amp esc can even handle this. I suggest you consider going down to a 13-14t pinion. This will allow you to run your esc's throttle a little higher and should be easier on it and your motor. It would also be a good idea to actually check your HS imho. Might currently be a little higher than you think.

Cheers,
TomC

65 % throttle same thing hot then shut down. This system minus the motor was in a crash.
Maybe th esc was damaged?? I reset the motor mesh for a little looser and still the same results. I check the pitch also it is 13.5.

Probably a good time to look at a bigger, better esc. I suggest 120hv rated with a good gov like Kontronik, YGE, or if you are on a budget, YEP.

Cheers,
TomC

Changed out the esc and the quantum motor.Castle Ice 2 80HV works great with the compass motor. The quantum was getting hot with the castle also.
