Default Outrage Servo Noise

Okay so I am making good progress on my helicopter but I wanted to check one thing with the servos. I have searched for this answer but didn't find anything that was fully helping me out.

I have Outrage BL 9180 Servos and when I power on the helicopter I hear this humming sound. When I searched I was told this can be normal however when I take off my servo horn the noise stops and i just hear a "ticking" type sound. The rods on all servos are the exact same length as the matching one. Since the humming noise stops when I take off the servo horns I am thinking something is wrong.

One other thing I noticed was I just played with my sub trim and at one point I got the noise on all the servos to go away so even with the servo horns on there was just the "ticking" sound. However, I moved the controls on the transmitter and when I let off even with the sub trims the same values it made the humming noise again.

Maybe the humming noise is normal like I read but I just wanted to check before I damage a servo(s).

Thanks
Chris

I would chalk it up to normal digital servo hum.

Sounds to me like the servos simply are underr load. Nothing wrong based on what you described.
