Default YGE 120LV 2 Beeps under voltage ?

Flight yesterday on fairly new packs with about a dozen flights on them and heli came down with 2 beeps repeating from yge. Manual indicated this is from an under-voltage state. Pack is registering with 55% left and all 6 cells at 3.8v

Any thoughts to why this would happen? This is on a Synergy E5 with scorpion 4025-1100kv motor, futaba servos heli command FBL and SkyLipo 4400mah pack. I also run a scorpion backup guard on a Y cable into the FBL controller off one of the yge leads and the other yge lead into another open port on the fbl.

The YGE has a pretty sensitive low voltage cutoff. I was also getting the two beeps after a flight and the batteries were between 50 and 60%. I set my LVC to 2.9 volts and the beeps stopped. Not sure about the rest of your setup if that might be causing a problem.

Thanks for the response. I will take a look at this and try adjusting my LVC a bit. I have only ran into this the one time so far but it's a bit scary as I don't want the bird to fall out of the sky on me.

That is pretty much what hallened to my Goblin 500 on its second flight. Motor slowed down because of the LVC and it was too low to save when I realized what had happened. I had left it at the default of 3.4V. Now it is at 2.9 and no more problems.

Default YGE 120LV 2 Beeps under voltage ?

It is possible your lipo's voltage drops a lot under load, especially if your lipo's are older.

It could be but my Pulse 4500s had less than 10 cycles on them. I sport fly and was was just doing some figure 8s when the LVC kicked in after about two and a half minutes of flying. Been doing a lot of reading about it. There is also a problem with the 90LV and 120LV built before April that can cause a similar problem. Some additional info here:

I'm new to yge and just tested it today. 5 packs and I think 3 outta the 5 did this to me as well. I have cut off set to 3.4 as I figured it was under lipo on the program card so left it there. I'll try and drop it to 2.9 like you guys tomorrow. I was wondering what the beeping was.

I personally don't run the lvc on my yge's. Just use a timer, rather ruin a battery vs a heli.

I get it once in a while with Pulse 4500 packs on my G500 as well. I'm probably going to turn it off now that I have mah telemetry on my VControl Tx.
