As for a 230, I'll have to wait on that, hopefully they have another sale on em. I see they are on back order right now too.

I just ordered a 230s RTF from Amazon for $129.99!! There you go nighttrain06!! Don't think I'll ever see it lower than that! Bought from a company called "shipped & sold". Said they had two left. Wish me luck.

Nighttrain06, I'm dying to know if you found that seller on Amazon, shipped & sold? They listed the 230s as new. That means it's a factory sealed item with factory warranty. And it said they were RTF which means it comes with the TX!

Sorry to hear that nighttrain06! Well, I'm sure there'll be deals for the 230s in the future but I'd be shocked to see it lower than the $130.00. I wish you luck!

I'll be shocked if anyone ends up with anything more than a box of rocks for $130. That seller was brand new and looked suspicious.

I thought about that yakky. But Amazon's description of "new" is a new still factory sealed and unopened undamaged item with the factory warranty. And since it says RTF it has to include the TX. If it isn't what I expect it to be I will be able to return it and I will make a complaint to Amazon. Since it looks like they are in Mn and I'm in Ma I don't expect it will take longer than a few days to receive it. I'll keep you posted......

Yakky, I just popped in here and realized I never got back to you on the 230s bargain. Very sorry! Well it turned out you were partly right. The goods never showed. On the last day of expected delivery I was to receive it by 8:00PM. Nothing!

Frankly while I had my doubts about it actually coming to pass, I was more surprised at Amazon. Since they are considered a reputable web business, to allow this shmuck company to sell through them didn't make any sense. I'd assume they'd have confirmed that company had an established reputation before letting them in.

Anyway, it's all water over the damn. Amazon saw to it I got my money back fast and then just bought a BNF at the going price. At least all I lost was time I ended up getting it. So there you have it! It was possible but in this case it didn't pan out.

Sorry you got taken for a ride. Amazon does nothing to verify vendors. In 10 minutes you, yourself can start selling. They do hold their money for a period making it hard for real crooks to get away with your cash.
