Default How do I rescale my gimbals throws

okay I find myself starting to move away from pinching and towards thumbing at the controls. I want to change up the setup a bit so that full throw on the gimbals is now occurring at lets say 75% throw. I much prefer to move the sticks less than more, I'm sure there will be a few ways of doing it just curious what direction to go in with it.

Then again I may change it all up again as soon as I learn a few more things at the controls.

For thumbing I got new pointier sticks (DX8) and drilled them so they could go extra low... you want really short sticks for thumbing. And I really like the rubber skid nuts on them as well.

Maybe you wanna use a cyclic ring and then set the new stick endpoints in the skookum setup.

There's adjustment screws in the back or maybe only accessible under the back casing that let u adjust the gymbals stick throw limit. My dx8 has em and u can limit the stick limits by adjusting a couple of screws. I'm not familiar withe the dx9 and maybe it's different but I don't see why it would be. Here's the manual

Actually I believe there are throttle travel wedges that can be removed or modified to reduce or increase gymbal travel. Maybe look into that. And if u want to limit your stick travels to control heli u can modify that in the software or transmitter. U can make it achieve full cyclic command with less stick movement by configuring it in the software.

Awesome ! Thanks for all the tips, yes its a dx9. I like those short gimbal sticks you put on I'm kind of in between worlds, I did 4 flights today switching between pinch and thumbs. I'm not used to it yet fully but I think long term I'll be better with the thumbs, I'm starting to get better with it on the sim as opposed to pinching.
