Default Bring on the Warp!

For those of you that do not know. . . .

http://www.nankinhobby.com/product-p/warp360-a.htm

I got to see the final version at IRCHA and it looks AWESOME!

Now we need a new Compass sub-forum lol. I have a feeling things are going to get verry busy for Compass soon.

Do you have to pay full price up front for the pre-order ?

Say goodbye to another $1K.

I'll wait until the Vortex comes out. Then I'll "need" another heli to put the MB on.

Not if you already have the gear in another 450.

Which I don't. I'd have to get everything, including batts. And I'd go 6S for sure. Having done 3S and 4S previously.

Is it a 360 size or a stretched 450 size Heli? Looks freaking ballistic

Stretched 450 size. It can run 360 mm blades I believe.

What a bad translation on that link
Seems like a ultra-low cost heli description

Got to see the final proto at ircha and watch david and sebastian fly them. Its gonna be a monster faster 450 period and you can't here it. Its so silent, also for the headspeed junkies like david k it will take it. He ran a setting that he said was around 4000on the yge gov.

I'm gonna spank this Warp like the bad girl she IS ;

Have all my stuff ready for her

MKS DS92A+'s for cyclic
MKS D95i for tail
Beast X for FBL
Kontronix esc
compass or Align motor not sure yet, will pick when I get to play a bit .

If I build a 2nd airframe all will be similar cept for
ICE ESC
and MKS D95's for cyclic.

Would like to have a 6s setup and a 3s setup maybe 4s down the road when all my 3s packs are dead .

Hello Guys,

here are two videos from IRCHA with the WARP.

First one is David Ketelhut flying some nice 3D.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhChi-298Zg[/ame]

Thats me flying the WARP at IRCHA. Because of my injury I did only some smoother stuff and speedruns.

Greetings
Sebastian

thing is super quiet . I can't believe how silent it is compared to my Trex450 pro FBL which I love. I'm hoping the warp eclipses that, as my 450pro fbl is a bad mofo. I think the warp will do it, but can't wait to confirm it's success .

I can hardly wait! I loved my T450 pro as well, but sold it a couple months ago. Maybe it's the price or maybe the agility... but when I am comfortable with a 450 I flog it

The warp 360 has definately peaked my interest as well. I have seen a couple videos and this heli looks amazing!

My question is if you can use 6s battery i believe the size they said they where using in one of the videos was 6s 1300mah.

What kind of flight time would you be getting on a pack with such a small MAH count?

Can the warp 360 take a bigger 6s battery?????

Just as with any other heli, you'll need to use a pack that gets you a proper CG. You could probably go bigger on the pack, but then you risk a nose-heavy heli.

The reason the capacity is lower is due to higher voltage (6S). Generally speaking, a higher voltage system will draw fewer amps. Flight times will be comparable to a 3S system with a larger, say 2200mAh pack. I had 4S power system using 1800mAh packs, and I got the same flight time as I did with a 3S system using 2200mAh packs.

I love how you can land in TH and don't have to worry about the tail getting caught up in the grass.
