I'm using a Scorpion 2221-8 (3595kv) and a 14T pinion with a Kontronik Koby 40.
Awesome!

i'm using the stock motor with stock pinion gear and the motor does get hot. i have flown my fbl embla 30flights now and the stock set up is working nicely. i'm planning on going 6s but i would get the scorpion -8 motor for it if i were to change the motor -6 would be too hot for me and i don't think the stock hirobo esc can handle it

ya i was a little worryed about the stock motor getting hot but it seems to be doing good. so for now im going to use it but im also going with a 6s setup on this bird sould really wake it up.
all i have to get is the motor ( i want the hyperion 6s motor ) and need some 6s 1300ma batterys.
allready have a cc ice50 esc that will work great with 6s setup.

I am running the kontronik Kira and koby 55 in my embla. I will check which pinion I have in as I did change from stock. Work real nice for me. Spirt flying 7 minutes on a 2600mah gens ace or Hyperion and I am only down to 28%. FBL embla.
