Default Shorten ESC wires to motor???

Has anybody shortened their Jive yellow ESC wires? I'm building my 4th logo and I'm sick of all the yellow wire. On my Kosmik it's great to just have the connectors and I have managed to connect the motor wires direct to the ESC on my carbon 600se. On my Logo700 it had the very short YGE ESC wires perfect length. But on my other/now sold 600se I had the wires bundled up, and I'm now building up a new 600sx with a jive pro.

Was thinking of crimping/soldering plates on very short wires out of ESC so can then connect pyro wires direct. If required in the future to need extensions can use the xtra wires you can get for the Kosmik.

Your thoughts guys??

Cheers

I have shortened them on a couple of mine with no issues. I would say go for it.

I shorted one so far that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to sell it when I didn't need it anymore!

Cheers guys. Bit concerned about warranty if I need to send it back to Company, but hey I've never had any problems with KONTRONICS anyway and I fail to see how shortening the wires effects the ESC itself.

shortening wires will not do anything to your warranty. and if there ever is a warranty replacement it will probably come back with long wires again.
