CB 100 tail happy

My CB 100 flies great until I put the canopy back on. Is it transmitting vibration to the gyro in the receiver? The receiver is held on with rubber bands and this may have bulked things up in the nose.

Hi, I have been fighting this issue for sometime now. I am not sure what reciever you have but my 1st cb100 has a 2436Rx and it was wire tied and sandwiched by the tail and main esc under the canopy. I read that on the 2436 does not like to be tied down so I did away with it. I switched my Rx to a 2605a and that fixed my problem till I had to replace the tail motor. You might want to check your tail blade they tend to loosen over time. put a dab of hot glue on it. That maybe all you need. hope this helps you out.

It has a 2406b rx. I finally turned down the gyro gain, as I thought motor vibration was confusing the gyro, and this did help a lot. Debulking the nose (ie eliminting the rubber bands, and using two sided tape) also helped. Adjusting the AMS in the swash settings (found it in another thread) has eliminated most of the unwanted yaw with rapid vertical ascent and descent. Its back to being fun to fly again. The tail rotor is already glued to the shaft.
