Default 3Gx anti torque correction ??? ' s Help ..

hi guys..

need to pick your brains …

I have a 450 pro with the 3gx which has been updated to V3.1

during the build (page 7 ) it says that if the 3gx unit is mounted in position 1 , which is upside down on the under tray , to go into the setting and change the "anti torque correction " settings to Rev , and a value of 0 , this is shown in the book with a diagram ..

straight forward :thumb down: no such luck

once connected to the software via the pc , I go to the anti torque correction setting , which is at the end of the menus , but where the book shows a toggle switch to Rev the setting there isn't one in the latest version no I have searched and googled this with no luck … I have emailed Align with regards to this but as of yet had no response …

so please , if anyone can shed some light on this for me I would be greatful , if you running the 3gx unit mounted upside down and have the latest V3.1 , what have you done ..

thoughts please ….

Setting the position ? not sure I know what you mean , is that accessible without the pc ? if so , how to access that part of the system ..

i know Dir and general setup = hold button down when power up …

gyro and rudder settings = power up , then hold button down for 2 sec …

I haven't used another menu ??

the anti torque correction , is found under rudder parameters when connected via the pc , I can not find any information on gaining access to these settings without the pc connection ??

and under these setting it reads "Nor" but has no way of reversing this

Sounds like your now understanding the tail setup. Mounting position is right after setting delay. green for right side up and red for upside down. It's that simple. The unit will time out between settings if you don't follow threw the entire process including the mounting position being green by default and you need to move the rudder and make sure it turns red right after setting delay.

hi I am understanding how the setup works , and is not that difficult if following it step by step …

when i enter gyro and rudder setup , after delay , (one click) all led's are shown I thought this was to do with sensitivity …

the instructions are limited …

can you clarify this …please

I have this sorted now ..

all five led's represents anti torque correction .. which is now set to rev … this is not shown in the instruction book …

I managed to confirm this by looking over the 3gx software instruction procedure , which is not great at best . but clarified this for me ..

now on to flight settings … lol… any good vid on this

It shows how to set it in the PC based instructions. I just double checked all 3GX versions that has the antitorque setting and it clearly stated to set the status led to red for upside down and green for right side up. Naturally you move the rudder to chage it if needed just like in all the other settings. Here's a vid. Rudder setup starts at 12:30 and jump to 13:45 for mounting.
