Default 9T pinion?!
So, I just noticed a 'new' 9t pinion available 'soon' for the x7. If my math is right this would enable us to use a 4035-560 on 12s for headspeeds between 1900 and 2000rpm.

I figure this would cut about 0.25lb off my heli since I have a 4235-520 on it now and probably not change the power much at all given that both motors are rated for ~100A continuous.

I do wonder if the stock motor mount plate will work though because I'm pretty sure my motor is almost as far aft as it will go with the 10T pinion on it now.

The 9T pinions have actually been available for a few days now in the states. Will allow for more KV and RPM options for sure.

Well, I'd never heard of your site but I'm happy to see that you have a lot of parts in stock.

Do you have some kind of dependency chart for all the 'upgrade' parts? Particularly, the spiral bevel gears caught my attention.

I was just playing around with the headspeed calculator and realized that with this new 9T pinion, people could run the stock 4035-500 on 14s for some crazy high power to weight performance. On 14s, it would make about 4300w continuous.
