I have the 60A on the FBL and the 80A on the stretch.
The FBL hasn't almost been flown due to lack of time and vibration issues.

The 80A is performing well. I didn't try governor store mode, one of the most interesting features on the ESC's.

The two ESC's stay quite cold during flight..
What I don't like is the soft start, far from any CC, kontronik or even the Lipotech ESC.
Although possible to use the optional progcard to set the spool up power, it's never THAT smooth.

I asked the guys over at Experience RC and they advised they still don't have any in and don't have an update timeframe, but they said they should be in soon..

Wasn't this sucker due June? LOL.

Corrado, please update us!

I haven't decided if I'll bite yet. Depends if a FBL combo is offered and how much.

I´d like to know the release date too, as I need buy another MSH- kit (my Protos was broken last week)
If the mini is launched "any day now" I´ll get one instead of rebuilding Protos right away.

Glad to hear it's coming soon. Are you going to offer a FBL head for the Mini Protos around the same release date?

Corrado mentioned last June that a FBL version would be available at launch. Hope it's still true. He also said that the space under the main shaft was perpendicular and the FBL unit could be mounted there.

Great!

If MSH also releases the 350mm stretch kit at the same time, I will have my winter project: Protos 450 FBL stretched on 4S.

Best,
Frank

I believe at IRCHA I was told that 350mm blades fit on the stock setup (like a Rave). I could be wrong!

The list price will be about 10% less than the Protos.
I won't have an exact # until they make it available to us (dealers).

10% less then a carbon or plastic combo?

If it's the plastic combo then we can expect to pay about $380 for a kit with a motor, esc, blades with a fbl head.

Not bad at all for a premium 450. I'll wait until I hear OICU's impression though after he builds, flies and autos it. .
