I was far from Impressed with those skids as well..
I've had pretty good luck with these. http://www.fusuno.com/index.php?cPath=931_52_1022_1029 Shipping Is too much to get them direct from fusuno though. Helidirect carries them and Lynx make some that are similar as well. You can also find them on Ebay sometimes. |

Did the post bracket break or the cf skid? I broke my RKH CF skids and just cut my own replacements from storage containers. Traced out the shape and screwed them right to the mounts. Very light, very flexible, very easy! The red ones are RKH on an mCP X BL, made from a holiday cookie container. The green ones are made from a green 2 liter soda bottle painted with green metallic sharpie. You can see the tail fin made from the same soda bottle..
I think they look cheesy but they are indestructible. I poured boiling water over the red plastic to make it less brittle and easier to cut with scissors.. Cut out a nice piece of the soda bottle... Used a heat gun to flatten it. The soda bottle plastic actually shrunk and got thicker and stiffer yet still very flexible Next time I'm going to use clear and try to paint on some black skid design. |

Yea, these are great. Even if you bend them, bend them back and take off. Fits the stock frame.

You are dealing with a one man show, so if Rich is busy it may take a day or two to get the invoice, but you will get it. |

I ordered the Airtime skids, got the invoice next day. They arrived the following week. I fit them and they look great but somehow I broke a wire off the board and now she won't fly [emoji1] I'll sort that out soon

I recently used a stock mCPX BL landing gear on the nCPX...
Works just fine and looks great with wider stance and lower profile...used My heat gun to widen the skids and CA'd the battery holder |

Hi Chuck,
You might want to contact Rich via e-mail, as I know he was a little busy this week. As well - he's a true gentleman. I have several sets of Airtime skids - both affixed to my two nCPX's - and I'm a "newbie" who he wouldn't know from "Adam", so no affiliation, blah, blah... Hope this helps, John |
