Default Helis Over Tidewater 2014 June 6-8
7th Annual Helis Over Tidewater!
HOT 2014 will be held June 6th-8th at Newport News Park Radio Control Club Park flying facility. http://www.newportnewsrc.org/

3 day event for heli pilots of all skill levels. We will have 8 active flight stations this year, plus a dedicated hover area.

We have moved the event to the weekend before father's day to make it easier on some folks to come play all weekend.

We will see....u mean another weekend? I come down there every sunday for other stuff, might drop by one day although my 450 needs some head help and the 600 is incomplete.

I usually fly at DRCW with the gang from here but your field is much bigger....a similar one is at my school but its wide open and wind is always blowing so i never get to fly there

Damn Will, I haven't seen you since last year IN Fredericksburg.
We need to hook up more often. I've been up to your field a couple times this year already and Jay is right, that wind has been howling each time.

Oh crap, my dad just got a job in TX which is great since hes been underemployed for some time but that means 99% chance i wont be able to make it to HOT dont have my license yet since i still havent had too much experience....

I just found this event and it sounds like it might be something I'd be interested in going to. It's actually right on my birthday so it would be pretty cool to be at an event for such an occasion

Me winning...other than that chaos 600 (pure luck on second drawing- plus ended up costing me quite a bit )

But seriously if i won a logo 550 i would be so hype, most of my other helis would be hitting the market quick

Any estimates on how many ppl? I actually have another event on the 6th so i might not be able to make it at all...
