Default Post Your FPV Videos Here :)

Here's a place to put and your FPV videos to share with others. Heli FPV videos would be first choice but all FPV related videos like planes, cars, tanks, boats, etc... are welcome too. Let's see'em.

I'll start with my HD FPV and Adventure movies

I know it's not an FPV helicopter setup, but hope this is interesting enough. I'm using one of Crash9's pan/tilt setups for my camera, and he gave some great advice on the chassis setup too.

I still have some structural mods I want to make, and will put in a third steering servo for the steering wheel itself, but it's now quite usable for short-range trucking.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nTZ7zr9Zyc[/ame]

I use the truck as my laboratory for radio equipment-- the RF is harder to get clean on the ground, but the logistics and safety are a lot better. I have a T Rex 600 ESP with identical transmitting capability, but I haven't upgraded my brackets to a GoPro camera yet.

This is one of my latest tricopter FPV flying - over water. A bit scary at first but fun anyway.

Thanks, tarro. You look like you used the tiny cameras that record to a memory card, so you can view the video later. That is fun.

Usually though, FPV refers to a setup where the helicopter has a radio transmitter to send the video image down to the pilot, and the pilot watches this video while flying, not just later. The pilot does not look up in the air to see the helicopter. The pilot uses a screen or goggles to watch what the helicopter sees, and flies that way.

Good stuff, tarro. Recording on the helicopter works well-- no video drop-outs!

Finally got some footage from my Easystar! Will do long range soon, and do some low passes. Need the UFH system first!

We got to put on a demo at the local airshow.. the Canadian snowbirds were there as were many others.. they only gave us a narrow strip to fly over ... but I broke the boundries somewhat and stepped outside the box. I hadn't flown heli FPV in over 2 months... so i faired well...I didn't even get a practice lap.. I was flying amongst a 35% Edge540 and a 25% Yack [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZZiAcWt4bo&feature=player_embedded[/ame]

I'm new to the whole FPV thing so my video isn't nearly as exciting as others on here but I thought I would post anyway.

My setup is a Gaui Quadcopter 330x, with a Sony Bloggie handing both the HD onboard recording, which is shown, and the transmitted video via a HobbyKing 900MHz 200mW system.

This video is from my 4th attempt:

Here's a video of my setup:
