Best engine/pipe combo for Trex 600N?
Hi Guys,
I'm looking at upgrading my YS50st engine. What engine/pipe combo would be the strongest for my Trex 600N??

Im very happy with my ys56sr with an outrage hr56 pipe. Would probably run better with a hattori. The ys60 is supposed to make quite a bit more power than the 56 though. You would probably be happy with either.

When I had my Trex 600n I ran a YS56sr with an outrage pipe. I referred to that helicopter as "Mr. Reliable". Always ran, ran really well, easy to tune, and was fun to fly. I could always count on the YS to run really well. If I were to get another 600 size nitro I'd be hard pressed to run anything else considering how well the last one ran for me.

Edit, sorry for the intrusion, I found my answer elsewhere.

Go Big Block with some OS91HZ coupled with Hatori pipe and you'll never have to worry about bogging ever again !
If you want to keep it within the norm i'd say OS55 with Hatori or Powerboost I just have thrown the towel on YS engines, too hard to tune and not as reliable as OS |
