... and I will receive my 1st CP heli in 2 weeks! A belt CP...

Just 1 thing... I will have to wait until christmas before openinng the box...

Santa may not be real but, the Ghost that follows me is! At random times of the day you can hear it directly behind me and the sound it makes is ! It really stinks too!

I believe that Mika is the closest to our friend Santa if we all direct our wishes to Mika I am sure he will hand them over to Santa.
Imagine Mika in 18" of snow with reindeer pulling his sled hurrying to deliver our requestststtetst (ok my fingers got in the way of my tongue )

Nah, Mika would just attach all our requests to one of his helis and fly them over to santa!

Anyway, I know he won't be bringing me what I want (T-rex 500 CF with torque tube). So to paraphrase Kevin Bloody Wilson "Santa Claus you C&*!$ where's my F%^&!!$ Trex, I've opened up my other presents and theres nothing here I like!"

On a serious note. If you are thinking about getting a Trex 500. I wouldn't bother with the TT. It costs like £50 and it doesn't make a difference in flight. The only thing people notice with the TT is that it does better auto's, and it spins for longer on the floor. You might get a few more seconds of flight time because it has less friction. And also the teeth strip easily like even if the tail hits the floor.

I would stick with lubeing the belt for a while. And upgrade to a TT later on. Just a tip for if you get a trex 500 Save you a bit of money.

There is a deal on somewhere at the moment. Trex 500 GF kit for $299 with motor, ESC and gf blades!!! That's around £195. I will go and find it.

I could rig the nearby high voltage line to boost the transmitter module, but how would I get live video from the helicopter at a range of 600 miles?
