Protos 500
So I'm thinking I might want to get into a protos 500. I have looked online and all I can find is flybared kits.
Do they offer flybarless? Where do you guys buy from? In a crash anything needed other than the usual shafts, blades....... What's a typical setup? I've read good things about the stock motor and esc. I'll stop there..... More questions to come. Thanks Brian |

Welcome to the family!
they dont make a FBL kit. so you will have to get the FBL upgrade. Mshdirect.com is pretty much the best place in the US to get protos parts. Most guys run the stock esc and motor with 6s 2600Mah batteries. i run hitec 5245MG on the cyclic and an MKS ds760 on the tail. you will def need a full size servo for the tail. Also I would get the YGE program card so you can use Gov store mode on your ESC
