I'm not too worried about it. The HC3SX has a solid metal body and with Captain Bailout if I crash it will probably be upright.

I've already heard of a vbar getting punched through by a main shaft on a mini prôtos, I believe it was a hard crash while inverted.
Metal servo mounts and 3rd bearing are recommended if you have your FBL mounted under the main shaft.

It's done! Thanks for all the help!

It will have it's maiden flight when the snow stops. I spooled it up without blades and it does have some tail vibes but I'm not sure how to get rid of them.

Planned future upgrades in about this order:
Metal bearing blocks.
Stretch, which I already have.
Metal tail slider.
Low head.
MKS main servos.
6s.

First flight today just hovering in the yard. I just hovered and did some basic gain adjustments. Hopefully I can take it out to the field tomorrow for a real flight. 3 newish 2200mah 60c Gens Ace batteries are just itching to finally be used.

i have drove mine in REAL hard serial times over the years, right down on the head ..it's never been a problem, get the metal servo mounts for sure..
