Electrics for nx4
Hi,
I would like to get all the electrics and engine for the nx4 but unsure what's the best to go for as i generally fly all electric but fancy having a go at a small nitro. I'm thinking 4 x align 510 1 x 520 for tail, os37, mini vbar, but unsure about electrics for the engine. Do I need a governor, can I use an align 2 in 1 for the glow plug ? If you guys can give me an idea then I can get started buying (gulp) for Nov 5 Cheers Rik |

I'm going to use the VBar governor and Align sensor, and Push Glo to heat up the plug.

I ordered the MSH brain with Governor, Align sensor, and push glow. I am thinking the JR HV servos ( DS3717HV ).
I am not sure what size battery will fit on there. -GN

We are using a LiFe 1450mah, However if your using HV servos you can use a 1300-1600mah Lipo and be fine ;-)

I just need a Lipo and I have everything - minus the kit I ended up going with Hitec HS-7235MH High Volt Speed Digital MG Mini Servo. I was going to do the JR's, but these are 100 dollars cheaper for 4! I will splurge on the tail servo. I have had good luck with both my JR and Hitecs ( way more luck than my Align or Savox servos). Went with MKS DS-8910A+ for the tail servo -GN

You don't want to be to much bigger than this pack here. As the canopy will have trouble going on.
Hyperion LiFe 1450 2s 6.6v L x W x H (mm) 84.6 x 29.5 x 17.2 Should fit just fine ;-)

Picked up my motor and pipe from Bobby Jacks today. With the weekend sales going on snagged a brain at a killer deal from readyheli so will use that for fbl and gov. Just need to snag a push glow now.
For servo's, probably going to run MKS DS9660A+ on the cyclic and MKS DS8910A+ on the tail. So for the RPM sensor looks like the align sensor is what people are going with. Will the spektrum one not work?

Just picked up a built (never flown) gaui nx4 with 5 x (never used) mks ds9670a+ on it. Anybody know if they will suffice on this model? The stall torque on 6v is somewhere around 38.1 oz. Seems a bit on the light side for cyclic. I did read on vstabi that they roughly recommended minimum 40 oz for 425 mm, so I guess it's in the ball park. Will be running 430mm blades and os 37 motor. I fly intermediate 3d..
